OK so i think that the challenge should be( it can be changed later but heres a start):
1. How many transport systems can you use (like... a bus, bikes, cars, feet, tram, trains)
2. to travel as far as you can and back in 4 hours on just five dollars each
3. takes lots of pictures and map out where you go in words or map(example i took bus 5 to..... or high light where you went on a map)
4. We'll post them to our blog and compile them for a fun compilation "showing" at the competition (if FLL agrees); otherwise the compilation will be on our blog site
5. We could share are experiences/ lessons by making a blog off the blog just for that and have one person for every team be able to use it (maybe)

  1. Thanks Amy; the team decided tonight to launch the challenge forward to other teams.

Jeffrey volunteered to communicate this challenge out to Amiel's friend's team at Catlin with Claire. So could you both rapidly share with me or the blog a one page "challenge" document that can be emailed and/or posted to Claire and shared on other sites that might want to take up the challenge. It probably needs to move out of "blog lingo" into "communicate more publicly" language -- but this is your call. Why don't you share a copy with the team before next meeting with us all? We need to get the challenge out to Claire's team fairly soon, ideally ...

It would be great if your challenge document could reference the ShockNBots as the team helping to launch this challenge.

Jeffrey and Austin will then post this challenge to the FLL Oregon site more broadly, using your materials.

The team is also bringing lists of teams they want to share this challenge with more personally to the meeting on Saturday.

So Amy, can you coordinate with Jeffrey to get this challenge communications into a final format to send to Claire's team ...
Amiel will send you both Claire's email address

By the way, I like your ideas to create a "blog off the SNB blog": we didn't decide on that tonight so we'll review this approach on Saturday as we all meet up.

Great job thanks for getting this together --
    Sue
